As founder and CPO of Baxter Planning, Greg Baxter is the guiding force behind the company’s comprehensive suite of products and professional services. Greg brings over 30 years of experience in the service planning industry, including 10 years at Texas Instruments where he served as world-wide system planning manager. Since founding Baxter Planning in 1993, Greg has championed software designs that operate from a service planners’ perspective while effectively addressing the business demands of C-level executives. This has resulted in customer-proven, first-to-market innovations that optimize worldwide inventory networks through SaaS and on-demand planning services. He holds an Economics degree from Texas A&M and an Engineering degree with a specialty in Operations Research from University of Texas. Greg thrives on his passions for planning, running, yoga, guitar, and dark chocolate.
Michael Grabert has 25+ years of experience leading technology organizations. Michael has grown multiple startups and led global organizations in multi-national companies. He also brings deep product development discipline having created, launched, and evolved several commercial products. Building high-performance technical teams and solving business problems with technology are his forte and passion. Michael joined Baxter Planning as Director of Technology in 2018. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of LA. He lives in the Hill Country outside of Austin where he and his wife and daughters enjoy the lake. Outside of Baxter, he provides tech support for his wife’s non-profit, plays guitar/bass with friends and at church. Michael also loves to build and fix things and is often found working on home projects, cars, and water toys.
Phillip Kennedy leads Baxter Planning’s go to market strategy and is responsible for driving market leadership, global awareness, demand generation, and strategic partnerships. His vision and passion for customer success has resulted in Baxter’s Best Practice Scorecard, increased adoption Planning as a Service, and growing list of customer success stories. Phillip joined Baxter in 2012 as VP, Product Management and has 19 years of experience solving enterprise market problems. Prior to joining Baxter Planning, Phillip held leadership positions at high growth software businesses with a focus on differentiation based on service. He is a proud Hokie with a degree from Virginia Tech in Accounting Information Systems. He is also Pragmatic Marketing certified as a Product Manager. He lives in Leander, Texas with his wife and two children who keep him busy supporting and volunteering with local non-profits.
Chuck Moeling spent the first half of his career with Bain & Company and Accenture focused on clients at the intersection of growth and technology. As an operator, Chuck has led SBUs and held C-level positions with high growth, recurring revenue, technology businesses in the SaaS, security and network infrastructure markets, both domestically and around the globe. He joined Baxter Planning as CEO in 2018 following Polaris Partners’ growth capital investment. Chuck has an MBA from Wharton, an Electrical Engineering degree from Vanderbilt and his CPIM from APICS. In addition to his passion leading great teams delivering powerful customer solutions, he relishes the feel of a fly rod, the mist of saltwater spray fighting a big fish and a great glass of cabernet to celebrate the day’s catch with his wife and sons.
Mike Nilsson has 20+ years managing Operations, Field Services, and Account Management teams in a variety of industries including e-Commerce, security and network infrastructure markets, and technology. He joined Baxter in 2018 and was promoted to VP, Global Customer Success, with responsibilities for managing our overall Customer Experience. Outside of Baxter, Mike lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, two kids and dogs. He enjoys traveling the world, spending time with his friends and family, watching Formula 1, playing sports, and modifying automobiles and motorcycles.
Tinka Saxena has 20+ years of finance and accounting experience across a variety of industries, including technology, telecom and oil & gas. He joined Baxter Planning in 2017 as VP of Finance with ownership of Finance, Accounting and Human Resources. His experience with companies such as Dell, AT&T and Sprint have given him a global sales-focused view with an emphasis on revenue acceleration, EBITDA management, talent acquisition & retention and cultural engagement. Mr. Saxena has a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Louisiana State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of New Orleans. He lives in Round Rock, Texas with his wife, two kids and dogs, loves college and professional football, and is an avid reader.
